Orrefors designer Erika Lagerbielke worked closely with brewer Johan Spendrup and drink expert Bengt-Göran Kronstam to create three new beer glasses for the Orrefors Difference series.
Public interest in different types of beers has grown in recent years, and Orrefors is keeping abreast of the trend with three new glasses for light lager, ale and dark beers like Porter. Erika, Bengt-Göran and Johan met countless times to try out different beers in different types of glasses to find just the right shape to bring out the flavor of each beer. They realized early on that one glass was not enough—eventually settling on three: Pils, Ale and Porter.
